Building the Foundation: The Makkan Period of Prophethood

Join us every Wednesday at 7:30pm to follow this series of educational lectures. 

This lecture series will delve into the life and times of the Final Messenger of God, Muhammad (saw), with a focus on the first half of his messenger-ship. The class will cover lessons, examples, benefits and exhortations from the authoritative and authentic reports on the subject.

Our journey will not be a simple reading of events and expeditions; rather we will be recounting the stories of the struggles of the early Muslims with the goal of deriving numerous benefits and morals to assist us in our life as a religious minority in the West. We hope to shed light on the importance of following the prophetic model and example by extracting practical lessons from his life.

Sh. Ahmad AlKurdy is an Alumnus of the Islamic University of Medina who was raised in Southern California.
